Cleaning the coils in RV air conditioners should be done every couple years

The Nu-Blast® Condenser Coil Cleaner (4290-75) by Nu-Calgon is a high-performance aerosol cleaner designed for maximum cleaning of condenser coils. Here are the instructions for use:

  1. Ensure proper ventilation – The cleaner has a strong fragrance that some may find objectionable.

  2. Protect surrounding areas – Place a cloth or other protection under the coil to catch debris.

  3. Spray the entire coil surface – Use the blasting nozzle to separate dirt and grime.

  4. Allow the cleaner to work – Let the product flush soils from the coil onto the cloth.

  5. Wipe affected plastics immediately – Some newer model drain pans may be sensitive to the cleaner.

  6. Follow safety precautions – Avoid inhalation and wear protective gloves and eyewear.

  7. Storage – Keep the product in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and temperatures exceeding 50°C (122°F).
