Returns and Order Cancellation Policy

Return Authorization: Please email us at for a Return Authorization Number (RMA) along with your order number.

NOTE 10% restock fee to cover the cost of shipping materials and labor.  15% (30-45 days), 30% (after 45 days)

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for their return shipping costs. If we provide a return shipping label, the cost will be deducted from the refund.

Return and Exchange Period: Our policy allows returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Products with a 1-year exchange warranty are eligible for replacement if they fail within the first year.

Restocking Fee Schedule:

  • Stock Item: 10% restock fee to cover the cost of shipping materials and labor.  15% (30-45 days), 30% (after 45 days)
  • Nonstock Item: Subject to Manufacturer's Return Policy

Order Cancellation: All sales are final once an order is shipped. Cancellations, if possible, are subject to a maximum fee of $20. If an order has already shipped, it is subject to a 10% restocking fee upon return.

Compressor Cancellations: Compressor cancellations are subject to a 35% fee and are not returnable.

No Return on Special-Order Items: Special-order items are not eligible for return but are covered under our 1-year exchange warranty.

Eligibility for Return: To be eligible for a return within 30 days, the item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Non-returnable items include special-order items, gift cards, and downloadable products.

Return Testing: Defective parts are replaced or refunded, and the returned part undergoes testing to determine the cause of failure. Products are tracked by SKU barcode for manufacturing date versus fail return date.

Refunds: Refunds are processed within 5 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Late or missing refunds can be addressed by contacting

Clearance or Special Order Items: Only regular and sale-priced items may be refunded or exchanged; clearance and special-order items are non-refundable.

Exchanges: Exchanges are accepted for defective or damaged items. Contact for exchange requests.

Shipping Returns: To return a product, mail it to HVAC PART STORE, 3914 S. Sage Ave., Yuma AZ 85365. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Shipping Insurance: Consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $50. Damaged items will not be eligible for exchange or refund.

Liability Disclaimer: We want to emphasize that we are not liable for any harm or damage that may result from accepting our assistance or purchasing our parts. Our products are specifically designed for installation and servicing by licensed HVAC technicians.

Customer Competency: We reserve the right to refuse sales to individuals whom we believe are not competent in installing our parts. This decision is made with the utmost concern for the safety and well-being of both the customer and their family. It is our priority to prevent any potential injuries or fatalities that may arise from improper installation or usage of our products.

For the safety of everyone involved, we encourage customers to seek professional assistance from licensed HVAC technicians for the installation and service of our parts. If, in our judgment, a customer lacks the necessary expertise to handle our products safely, we retain the right to decline sales in the interest of preventing potential hazards.
