The 626619 is an OEM auto-reset auxiliary limit switch for Nordyne and Intertherm gas furnaces. It safeguards the heat exchanger by opening its internal contacts at 140 °F and closing them at 100 °F, providing reliable temperature regulation and system protection.

Compatibility

Technician Notes

1. Cut power to the furnace; lock out/tag out all line-voltage and 24 VAC circuits.

2. Remove the access panel and locate the existing limit switch.

3. Photograph or label wiring to preserve terminal identification.

4. Unscrew the mounting bracket and disconnect both spade terminals.

5. Install the new 626619 switch in the same orientation; torque mounting screws snugly.

6. Reattach wiring per your reference photos, ensuring tight, corrosion-free connections.

7. Restore power and observe normal operation: the switch should close at 100 °F and open at 140 °F.

8. If the switch trips out of sequence, verify airflow, venting, and proper sizing of the heat exchanger before replacing components.
