Technician Notes

  1. De-energize power; lock out/tag out per safety procedures.

  2. Remove blower compartment or furnace access panel.

  3. Label and disconnect all motor leads from the wiring harness or terminal block.

  4. Loosen belt tension (if belt-drive) or set-screws (direct-drive) and remove the old motor.

  5. Mount the new 902128 motor—align the frame, retension the belt or engage the direct-drive coupling, and torque set-screws to OEM specs.

  6. Reconnect motor leads according to the speed-tapping diagram; ensure secure, corrosion-free connections.

  7. Restore power and cycle through each speed; listen for smooth, vibration-free operation and verify airflow at each setting.

  8. Inspect mounting grommets or springs and replace if worn to minimize noise and vibration.

Blower Motor, 4 speed, 1/2 hp, 7.9 amps, 115V, 1075RPM. CCWLE rotation (counter clockwise lead end). 5-5/8" diameter x 5" deep. Shaft size 1/2" x 4.5". Includes 6-pin male molex plug. Used on M2 & M3 furnace series.

Note: The M3 furnaces were shipped with motors with 2 different mounting brackets. Measure the mounting distance. If the distance is around 11", then you may need the 903433 motor.

Requires a 10MFD/370V run capacitor PRCF10A (not included).

Wiring: red low, orange med-low, blue med-high, black high, white common, browns run cap.
