Compatibility

Technician Notes

  • Always shut off system power before servicing condensate components.

  • Cut the PVC drain line squarely; ensure the 2″ inlet fully seats into the trap body.

  • Slope the condensate line downward at a minimum of ¼″ per foot to maintain gravity flow.

  • Prime the trap by filling it with clean water before commissioning to establish the seal.

  • Secure the ½″ hose adapter to tubing with a stainless-steel clamp to prevent leaks.

  • Periodically inspect and flush the trap during annual maintenance to remove sediment or biofilm.

  • Keep spare 663714R assemblies and ½″ drain tubing on-truck for rapid field replacements.
