632622R Nordyne −1.20″ WC SPST Pressure Switch

Product Overview

632622R is a genuine OEM Nordyne/Miller pressure switch calibrated to close at −1.20″ water column (WC). It proves inducer draft or differential pressure in M7-series gas furnaces and compatible packaged HVAC equipment, ensuring the control board only allows ignition when proper airflow is established.

Compatibility

Fits Nordyne, Miller, Frigidaire, Maytag, White-Westinghouse, Tappan, Intertherm, Gibson, Kelvinator, GrandAire, Philco, Garrison, Mammoth, Medallion and other private-label furnaces requiring a −1.20″ WC SPST pressure switch for inducer draft or flame rollout proving. Always verify the required setpoint and mounting style against the unit’s data plate or service manual before ordering.

Technician Notes

  • De-energize all power and shut off the gas supply before servicing.

  • Depressurize the inducer housing; confirm zero vacuum at the switch tubing.

  • Photograph or label existing vacuum tubing routing and terminal connections.

  • Remove the old switch from its mounting boss; inspect barb and tubing for debris.

  • Hand-thread the new 632622R onto the plenum boss; torque to OEM specification.

  • Push 1/4″ vacuum tubing fully onto the barb; secure with a spring clamp if applicable.

  • Reconnect control wiring to the spade terminals, ensuring snug, corrosion-free contact.

  • Restore power and call for heat; confirm the inducer runs and the switch closes at approximately −1.20″ WC (verify with a manometer).

  • If the furnace locks out, re-check setpoint with manometer, tubing integrity, and contact continuity.
