Compatibility

Fits Nordyne, Nordyne Miller, Intertherm, and private-label gas furnaces and packaged HVAC units originally equipped with a –0.70" WC pressure switch. Always verify the appliance data plate or service manual pressure requirements and tubing connections before ordering.

Technician Notes

  1. De-energize power and lock out/tag out both line voltage and 24 VAC control circuits.

  2. Remove the access panel and locate the existing pressure switch on the inducer housing.

  3. Label or photograph vacuum tubing and spade-terminal connections for accurate reconnection.

  4. Depress the mounting tab to release the old switch; disconnect the vacuum hose and spade lugs.

  5. Snap the new 632432R into the factory bracket, seat the tubing on the 1/4" barb, and reconnect spade terminals.

  6. Restore power and initiate a heat call; confirm the switch closes near –0.70" WC and opens when vacuum falls below that threshold.

  7. Use a manometer or handheld pressure gauge to verify actuation accuracy and inspect tubing for leaks or kinks.

  8. Replace any cracked tubing or damaged brackets to prevent nuisance lockouts and ensure long-term reliability.
