Technician Notes

  • De-energize all power at the service switch; lock out/tag out before servicing.

  • Photograph or label existing transformer connections on the control board.

  • Pull old transformer off by sliding spade terminals straight off the quick-connect lugs.

  • Mount the new 621807R transformer vertically, aligning its spade terminals with the board harness.

  • Reattach primary and secondary leads to their original terminals; ensure secure, corrosion-free connections.

  • Restore power and measure secondary voltage with a multimeter; verify approximately 24 VAC with no load.

  • Initiate a system call for heat or cool and confirm all control circuits receive stable 24 VAC and operate without fault indicators.
