Technician Notes

  1. Switch off power at the service disconnect and shut off the gas supply.

  2. Remove furnace access panels and photograph the existing blower assembly’s wiring and bracket layout.

  3. Label or tag each wire for accurate reconnection.

  4. Unbolt the blower mounting bracket and slide out the old assembly.

  5. Inspect the blower wheel and housing for damage or debris; clean the compartment if needed.

  6. Install the new assembly, ensuring the blower wheel clears adjacent components.

  7. Secure mounting bolts to manufacturer’s torque specifications.

  8. Reconnect wiring per your photo or tags, and restore power and gas.

  9. Initiate a heat call; verify blower spins smoothly and delivers airflow without unusual noise.

Nordyne combustion blower assembly for many M1 models. Brings air for combustion to the burner. 115V. When looking inside the assembly, it contains two blower wheels (white and black). Outside diameter on end with white wheel is 5.5". Outside diameter on end with black wheel is 5-1/8". Length of complete unit is 7-7/8". Flow probe included and installed. Male 2-prong molex plug. Replaces 621787.
